SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO, John Lee had a vision…a passion…to help franchisees realize their dreams of owning a successful franchise business. John followed his passion and embarked on his journey and Impact Marketing Services became a reality.
After many years of working in the advertising agency arena with national franchise organizations, John realized that many franchisees were frustrated. They were struggling; regardless of the amount of national advertising. Many were laboring to achieve break-even and needed to reach higher sales levels to survive. The “do-it-yourself” marketing and advertising approach simply wasn’t working. They needed direct personal counseling and guidance.
Many franchisees are not aware of the many advertising options available for targeted marketing. Sometimes they make costly choices on media that does not work. Or, they spend their time working “in their business and not on the business”. They need knowledgeable and experienced guidance while they focus on serving their valued customers and building relationships in the business community.

Meet the IMS Team:
JOHN LEE; Founder and CEO John Lee has an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing and has taught graduate level Marketing classes at Webster University. John has also conducted the Marketing module for Mail Boxes Etc. University training class for new franchisees for five years. He conducts marketing workshops for franchisees across the country.
MARY CARUANA; Director of Marketing and Implementation Mary Caruana has been with IMS since 1998. With a background in direct marketing and sales; she enjoys her one-to-one interaction with franchisees and clients. She received a BS in Mathematics and finds it very useful in a sales environment; where numbers are key.
ELAINE SMITH; Director of Events and Event Planning Elaine Smith has recently joined the IMS team to plan and implement client Grand Opening events to include: Friends & Family event, Business-to-Business Open House and the Community Grand Opening Event for our clients. She has extensive experience in community and non-profit event planning and publicity from start to finish. Elaine is working on her MBA at Dallas Baptist University with her emphasis on Management and Marketing. She has held events for Children's National Medical Center and assisted at a Kennedy Center Presidential Inaugural Ball in DC. held events for Businesses, Homeowner Associations, and has been involved with Monte Carlo Night Frisco in TX.
KENT CREEKMORE; Director of Client Services Kent Creekmore has been with IMS seven years. Kent and his team conduct coaching calls with each franchisee to review each plan in its entirety and provide follow up coaching calls to help keep the franchisee focused and on target.
MARIE FAULK; Director of Media Research Marie Faulk has been with IMS since 2004. She researches and evaluates media throughout the country; for Opening Launches, Extended Marketing and Special Events.
