Generate sign ups for Personal Training Institute Clubs during July and August; the slowest season.
Solution
IMS developed a four-color 11” x 6” postcard with a 50% Off Trial Offer. The postcards were mailed to 2,500 target households two times near each PTI Club in mid-July and early August.
Results
The participating Clubs acquired an average of 30 new sign ups or $93,600 per Club in annual revenues with an investment of $2,400 for two mailings.

| Situation
New Meineke Shop opened in January with the Grand Opening held February 2 – March 8. Goal was to build the customer base through a special trial incentive for the new Shop.
Solution
IMS developed and implemented the Opening Launch & Grand Opening Plan. A two week radio schedule with a radio remote broadcast from the Shop and a roof top balloon accompanied with solo direct mail jumbo color postcards mailed to target residents. Special offer:$12.95 for an oil change. Additional sales were added to each ticket increasing the average customer transaction to over $26.50.
Results
A total of 273 oil changes during the five week period; far exceeding expectations and the goal of 200.

The new Mail Boxes Etc. franchisees were breaking even in 8 – 10 months. The franchisees needed to break even much faster.
Solution
IMS reviewed and revamped the Opening Launch & Grand Opening program and tested the new plan in Atlanta for eight months.
Results
New stores in Atlanta achieved break even consistently in 3 – 5 months. The new program was rolled out nationally and stores began to achieve break even in the same time frame as the test stores.
